Intercultural Host Program

The Intercultural Host Program matches immigrant and refugee newcomer youth, adults, and families with volunteers from the community to:
  • better understand Canadian life and culture
  • learn about services in the community
  • practice English
  • make new friends

Community volunteers have an opportunity to:

  • experience other cultures and customs
  • learn about international celebrations
  • make new friends
