| What is Healthfest? |

The 4th Annual Multicultural Healthfest is a free event and open to the public. Healthfest was created to provide newcomers, immigrants and ethno-cultural communities with access to a wide range of health and wellness resources, presented in a number of languages including Mandarin, Cantonese, French, Korean, Vietnamese, Farsi, Punjabi, Spanish and many more.
Healthfest features approximately thirty health and wellness related exhibitors, interactive fitness and culinary demonstrations, health screenings and onsite tests, spectacular multicultural entertainment and children's activities.
Each year, we would like to draw attention to a specific area of healthcare. This year’s theme is: |

- Creates opportunities for health organizations and community service agencies to meet and establish linkages to inform & promote current and future health care initiatives
- Promotes healthy living initiatives to BC’s multi-lingual and culturally diverse communities with exhibitors offering information materials in a variety of languages
- Improve overall wellness of immigrants by reducing significant barriers
- Support and empower people to make positive changes to their lifestyle and behaviour which can improve their health
