Special Event!

The Immigrant Welcome Centre was proud to host a very special event at the Nanaimo Museum May 25 - May 30, 2010.

Lama Tenzin Tsundu, student of his Holiness the Dalai Lama, constructed a Green Tara Sand Mandala and the public was invited to witness the progress of the creation throughout the week. The event concluded on Sunday with the dissolving of the mandala and a procession to the harbour to release the sand.

Your donation to support this event and others like it is greatly appreciated and can be made online at DONATIONS
