Safe Harbour : Respect for All
The Safe Harbour program was created in 2004 by the Diversity Program of the Central Vancouver Island Multicultural Society with the support of its community partners. The program is now in twenty-four BC communities with over eight hundred and fifty Safe Harbour locations across the province. There are over eighty locations in the Central Vancouver Island region. The program is coordinated by the Affiliation of Multicultural Societies and Service Agencies of BC which has introduced the program into Alberta, Manitoba and Newfoundland.
