We have several programs and services for employers and business owners:

The Job Options BC Program delivers job ready individuals to fill your hiring needs. Short term training is available to the program participants to help them gain the credentials that may be required in your workplace. When employers hire a Job Options BC participant, they can access a wage subsidy of up to 50% ($8.00/hour maximum) for the first 6 weeks of the participant's employment.

Grow Your Employees Potential! with funded training for eligible staff
The ASPECT Targeted Skills Shortage Program (TSSP) is focused on helping businesses and non profit organizations grow the potential of their low skilled employees by providing access to funded training to eligible staff.
Program Details
Each eligible employee can be provided with up to a maximum of $1500 ($7500 per employer) to be used towards training courses that are specific to the employees' workplace need. You and your employee(s) will meet with our Training Coordinator to determine what type of courses are required to help your employee grow within your organization. The Training Coordinator will then help to select the appropriate courses.
Are You Eligible?
In order for your organization to qualify for the ASPECT Targeted Skills Shortage Program you must have less than 100 employees and identify with one of the following sectors:
- Professional, Scientific and Technical Services
- Healthcare and Social Assistance
- Transportation and Warehousing
- Manufacturing
You must have an eligible employee(s) who either does not possess a high school diploma or has a high school diploma but does not have any recognized certification. Each eligible employee is able to participate in the program only once, however more than one "growth employee" from your organization can take part in the program at the same time.
