Welcoming Immigrants to Nanaimo Strategic Plan

This Strategic Plan is the result of a nine month effort by community partners who came together in 2005 to form the Immigrant Mid-Island Welcome Committee or IMIW. This project was an initiative of the Central Vancouver Island Multicultural Society (CVIMS) funded by the Ministry of Community Aboriginal and Women’s Services, Regional Immigration Initiative. Robinswood Consulting was hired by CVIMS, as project facilitator.
