Angelika has been part of CVIMS’ heartbeat for over two decades, helping it grow from a small community office into a vibrant hub of connection and inclusion. Having built her own life in Canada, she understands the courage it takes to begin again and the power of community to make that possible. Her journey reflects the experiences of many who have arrived here – defined by resilience, hope, and the belief that belonging is built together.

As Director of Client Services, Angelika oversaw the expansion of programs that strengthen inclusion, employment, and community partnerships, helping CVIMS deepen its impact across the region.

She leads with warmth, integrity and collaboration — qualities that make CVIMS not just a service provider, but a place of belonging. “I am deeply honoured to step into this role and continue strengthening the heart of CVIMS. For more than two decades, I’ve witnessed the resilience, talent, and hope that newcomers bring to our community, as well as the power of compassionate support to help them thrive. My passion has always been to create spaces where every newcomer feels seen, empowered, and truly at home. Together, we will keep building a welcoming, resilient community where belonging is not just offered — it’s lived every day.”

The Board of Directors extends its heartfelt thanks to the CVIMS team and community for their continued dedication throughout this transition. With Angelika’s leadership, CVIMS enters a new chapter — one grounded in shared purpose, compassion, and hope.
