LINC Classes

Language Instruction for Newcomers to Canada (LINC) is a free language program for eligible adult newcomers.

LINC classes are divided between face-to-face classes and on-line learning.

Our English as a Second Languages classes are based on the national language framework of Literacy to CLB Levels 7. CLB stands for Canada Language Benchmarks.

LINC will teach you how to speak and understand English. LINC will also teach you how to read and write in English. You will learn about important things like Canadian laws, health care, society and jobs.

We have classes for people with different levels of English, with LINC levels 1 to 8. Some classes may have wait lists. Booking your assessment now! Call for an appointment.

*On-site child minding available during daytime English classes for parents with pre-school children (6 months to 5 years old).

LINC HOME STUDY

Learning English in the classroom with other students is the best way to improve your English. But if it is not possible for you to attend classes, you may qualify for the LINC Home Study program.
