On March 15th, 2012, @CVIMS hosted their first Nanaimo TweetUp. The TweetUp was an excellent opportunity for new Canadians to participate in a local networking event – and for many this was their first event of this kind. In addition, CVIMS had the great pleasure to welcome many members of the community to their first visit to the Immigrant Welcome Centre. The TweetUp was a great success!
