Each year, CVIMS welcomes hundreds of new immigrants from over 95 countries around the world – and almost as many as different languages!
With specialized programs, services and supports for newcomers, we help the transition to a new life in Canada a little easier.
Settlement services:
- Information Centre for Newcomers
- Personalized support with a Settlement Worker or a Case Manager
- Assistance with completing applications for government services
- Referrals to community resources and service providers
- Support with accessing cross cultural counselling
- Information and orientation workshops on settling in Canada
